Mike Cowan

Born of an Irish father in the rugged mining area of South Yorkshire, his early experiences are a delight to listen to. For nine years he was a fast bowler with the Yorkshire County Cricket Club sharing the opening attack with the legendary Fred Trueman. He toured Pakistan with the MCC and has done commentary work for Yorkshire Television. Mike Cowan has played sport and sold commercially at the highest level. He has achieved success in both highly-competitive worlds. On leaving professional sport, he turned to the world of selling. To achieve success in these careers required the same basic needs: Motivation; Skill; Planning - all coupled with a sense of humour. Mike possesses the ability to impress on his audience the factors required for success and also, at the same time, the means to entertain them. He is in great demand for company and hospitality days at golf and race meetings.
